Foundations of Energetics
The field is biology, coherent enough to be felt
A method that overlays the subtle energy architecture onto the neuroendocrine system — and teaches you how to bring the nervous system from a state of incoherence into coherence, through precise touch.
What is energetics?
Energetics is the study and practice of the subtle energy systems of the body — the chakras, the meridians, the biofield — and how these are understood to influence health, emotion and consciousness.
This is not "woo woo." It is the older language for what modern instruments now measure. The body is not a chemical machine with some electricity on the side. It is an electromagnetic organism.
- MRI — the most trusted diagnostic tool in medicine, and it works entirely on the principle that the body is electromagnetic. It reads the hydrogen atoms in your tissues using magnetic fields and radio waves.
- ECG — measures the electrical field of the heart, which generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body, detectable several feet beyond the skin.
- EEG — every thought, every state of consciousness has a measurable electromagnetic signature.
- Nerve conduction studies — the entire nervous system runs on bioelectric action potentials.
- Biophoton research — Fritz-Albert Popp's peer-reviewed work showing that living cells emit and receive ultraweak photon light.
- Heart Rate Variability (HRV) — now standard in cardiology and trauma-informed therapy; a measure of the electrical coherence of the autonomic nervous system.
The bridge
The Spinal Attunement Method bridges chiropractic care, physiotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Vedic maps of subtle energy — to create a new emerging methodology of healing.
The field isn't energy layered on top of biology. It's biology, coherent enough to be felt.
The subtle body maps to — and is an extension of — the neuroendocrine system, which is what creates the "field" that is now a researched and scientifically affirmed concept.
The subtle energy architecture
The architecture has two axes and one anchor.
- Vertical axis — the chakras and the three primary nadis: ida (lunar), pingala (solar), sushumna (central).
- Horizontal axis — the biofield radiating outward from the body in all directions.
- Anchor point — the soul, the heart, at the centre.
The chakras are mapped to the major nerve plexuses where autonomic signal concentrates and distributes outward. The solar plexus chakra sits at the coeliac plexus — the largest autonomic ganglion in the body outside the brain, a literal sun of neural radiation from which the gut, liver, kidneys and adrenals are innervated. The heart chakra sits at the cardiac plexus. The throat chakra at the pharyngeal plexus.
The living cross
The vertical axis is the body's relationship with itself — crown to ground, above to below, the internal hierarchy of consciousness moving through matter. The horizontal is the body's relationship with everything outside itself — the field that extends outward and both receives and broadcasts.
Where they meet is the heart. This is why the heart is said to be the seat of the soul: it is the soul that bridges the physical with the spiritual, that lands spirit into matter.
"The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe — to match your nature with Nature." — Joseph Campbell
