Introduction · Chapter IV
Esoteric Anatomy
A map for the work ahead
This introduction serves as a map of understanding prior to the technical aspects of the manual — it introduces a way of seeing the body not just as anatomy, but as a living field of consciousness, providing the context for how we think about, and approach, the body in Spinal Attunement.
As we continue into the technical modules ahead, we will explore how these systems interface in real-time, how to track tension patterns, how to assess armouring, and how to follow the body's own intelligence toward integration.
The Five Bodies.
At this level of the training, we begin to work with the Five Bodies:
- Physical Body — The densest and most known.
- Emotional Body — The etheric field, where feelings and subtle imprints live.
- Mental Body — The field of thought, belief, and cognitive patterning.
- Soul Body — The deeper landscape of purpose and essence.
- Spiritual Body — The most expansive, transcendent and transpersonal field.
Some clients will be more present in their emotional body, others in the mental or physical. Our work will be to attune to where the energy is most active and respond accordingly.
Energetic touch & master points.
This practice also draws from many esoteric sources, using master points to open circuits in the body. Sometimes a client will not be responsive in a field, but somewhere between the physical and emotional, and may respond to points such as K1 (Kidney 1 — Yong Quan) on the soles of the feet or PC8 (Pericardium 8 — Laogong) on the palms. These points can activate a session, opening the vertical and horizontal current and establishing circulation through the spine and heart field.
